Philosophy & Purpose

Our philosophy at Turning Point Christian Academy is to provide a rich environment where children can develop healthy physical, emotional and intellectual capacities. In order for children to grow in these areas, they must participate in a safe, secure, and friendly environment where healthy relationships are formed with other children. Children must be engaged in developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based, experimental learning opportunities that gradually expand their understanding of their world.

All matters relating to the Academy will be considered in relation to the Word of God as the sole rule of faith and practice.

What we believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe there is only one God who is the creator of ALL things; and He is existent in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and that each possess the full attributes of the Deity.
We believe in Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and that His death on the cross is the only means through which we can be made right with God, that He bodily rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God, and that He will return again to the earth in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives in each follower of Christ and who enables all of them to live God-honoring lives.
We believe man willfully sinned and as a result is lost and without hope apart from receiving Jesus Christ.
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to earth and the resurrection of the dead, that the eternal fate of each person will be pronounced, those forgiven will receive eternal life with God in heaven, and those not forgiven will endure eternal separation from God in hell.
We believe in the spiritual unity of the church on earth, consisting of all Christians everywhere.
